Stacking Stix

Stacking Stix

An activity of hand/eye coordination, patience and a steady hand.  Start by holding the upper wooden ball.  With the other hand, raise the first stick up to the ball.  Alernate hands adding a stick to the bottom of the stack.  As you move your hands down and the tower gets higher, the tower gets more unstable.  See if you can make it to the bottom stick.  This game was requested to us by a child therapist who found that kids were more willing to relax and talk if they had a task in their hands that required concentration.
